After some rain and other minor delays, our building is at lock-up stage. Our 12-month construction period may have slipped 5 weeks, but we are still optimistic about moving in by Christmas.
During our recent site visit, we were delighted to see the wonderful design features emerging from the construction activity.
The winter sun streams in through the north-facing expanse of glass walls.
The "store room" upstairs in the common house looks like the unexpected gem of the build. A beautiful space for quiet time or for bunking down the visitors during holidays. Or storage.
The double garage still needs a door and the southern walkway is missing the courtyards.
The gardens on the sunny north are going to be great!
